Thanks for visiting my page. I have been teaching students of all ages and levels for years and will help you find and achieve your musical goals. I am an alumnus of Berklee College of Music in Boston, have had a great deal of experience performing, arranging and singing. I have lived and taught in Basking Ridge, NJ for 20 years, and also will come to your home. I have taught group classes for Bernards Township Parks & Recreation, Music in The Somerset Hills, and have been an adjunct instructor at The Pingry School.
Each student is different, and I will construct a program that includes the basics that "set you free, musically"and help you learn the songs you love too.
Classic Rock - Beatles, Zeppelin, AC/DC,
Clapton, Skynnrd, Rolling Stones, Country, Springsteen, Eagles, Pop
Folk - strumming or fingerpicking
Blues - Electric or Country-Fingerstyle
Jazz - basics for jazz band,
melody/harmony solos,
practice for college admissions.
Classical - beginning and intermediate,
standard methods & repertoire.
Please know that I am conducting online private lessons using either FaceTime or the Zoom.us app. It is working out quite well, and we can supplement with email, etc. The show must go on. Michael
